well, in theory anyway...
the first day of summer and it's still gloomy out here in the pacific northwest...
it could be worse, i know...but i reserve the right to whine about the mundane...we've all got to exercise our gifts...
speaking of which, the following conversation took place between the duke and i this morning...
me, at the sink...him, at the table under the pretense of doing his latin work, but really practicing the art of talking non-stop about whatever at a *really* annoying and not found in nature pitch and then expecting you to not only pay attention but to also respond...
me: "are you trying to get my goat?"
the duke: "i try to make it a priority"
indeed.
then when he was done with his work he started to work on a book he has chosen to call dimwitted tales...
good lord i do hope he's not writing his tell all about me yet...i thought i'd have more time!!
well, we've got piano and errands and chores and the like so i'm off to enjoy SUMMER!!!
good thing i never packed away my fleece...
